Nice watch. Really helps to help diagnose a consistent swing. I don’t think it will really tell me what is WRONG with my swing but it will help me try to reproduce the same swing each time. Takes a bit of playing aorund to figure it out…the instructions are ok but pretty minimal. And … it can always help you keep score. BTW software is NOT vista compatible (at least not for my 64 bit version)

I got this for a present. Not sure I would have purchased it for myself. I don’t use the swing speed stuff that much. Never could figure out how to make the best use of it. I know already when I swing too fast! I do use the scoring function often. It does provide some useful info but the PC based part of the process leaves a bunch to be desired. It does not do a good job of presenting information in the way you would find valuable. You have to did around to get at what you want. The transfer mechanism is also a bit erratic. The worst problem is that it eats batteries. I play about 3 times a week and I don’t get much more than 6 weeks out of a battery. Considering the written material says 6 months, something is not all it should be.

In summary, a good idea with a lot of very rough edges.

Once you get used to the product it serves an excellent purpose. The user’s guide is not as helpful as it should be, however, the product works both in analyzing the golf swing and is otherwise a nice watch that keeps good time.

I bought this watch about a year ago. I use it only about 20 times on the range. Initially, I was hoping to use this watch to get my swing tempo to the “perfect” 0.25. But I can only get to 0.27~0.28 with my 2.0 handicap. I am not sure if this watch is calibrated with the more accurate devices. I end up just using this watch as a swing consistency monitor.

I found the “Test” function is the most useful function to improve the consistency of your golf swing. In Test mode, it can only hold 10 shots. I normally use same club try to hit the same target with the 10 shot. After the watch analyzing your 10 swings, you will be given a consistency index (the lower, the better). In “Practice” mode, it can store 100 shots for each session. It is very easy to download the data on the watch to your computer. It is pretty cool. But seems like the battery doesn’t last very long.

It also happens to me often that: the buttons on the right side of the watch are easily being activated by the rim of my left hand glove (I am a right-hand golfer) during the normal swing. I have to reset it to the correct mode several time during my practice session.

Great product. Has helped me slow down my swing in a day! Works as described. Battery is rather expensive but not a big deal.
