The topic we are going to focus on today is very important, although it is often overlooked. That topic is….how to properly rotate your hands through the ball at impact. Luckily, this golf swing tip is not hard to learn and you can have it implemented into your game by the end of the day. It will have you hitting the ball cleaner and straighter. So let’s start learning….

-

Golf Swing Tips – How To Rotate Your Hands Through The Ball At Impact

Getting into the perfect position at the point of impact is a very important step within the golf swing. The angle of the club face will determine whether you hit the ball straight or in some other direction that you don’t want it to go. Now grab a club and swing it as you normally would. Pay attention to the position of your hands and forearms at the point of impact. This is what we are going to focus on.

Alright, get back into the impact position, acting like you are about to hit the golf ball. Now…. one thing we want to focus on is keeping our wrists straight and not letting them bend to the left or right at impact. Bending your wrists is known as a “wrist break” in the golf world, and it is not something that we want. A wrist break at impact will most likely cause a slice. However, what you do want is to “flip” your hands through the ball at impact. So, how do we learn how to do this? This little exercise should help you out with that….

Using Your Wrist Watch

Ok, the easiest way for us to learn the proper form is if we can see the correct moves to make. This can be done easily with a simple wrist watch. So, go grab one…

Ok, Do you have your watch? Now, as your leading arm comes into the impact zone, the watch face should be facing your target, which will more than likely be the flag. At the point of impact, ROTATE your wrists and forearms so the watch face is pointing at the ground. This movement will also make your trailing wrist and forearm “flip” on top of your leading wrist and forearm. Continue to practice this movement until it feels completely natural within your golf swing.

Properly rotating your wrists through the ball at impact will automatically “close” your club face which reduces that nasty slice and improves your total distance. This move will both reduce your slice, and add distance.

When implementing this tip, it’s important to note that your forearms should be working together. Keep your forearms as close to each other as possible through the impact zone. Once you master this technique you will be well on your way to longer, straighter shots, and a lower golf score

———————————————————————————————————————————-

The one plane vs. two plane golf swing has quickly risen to be a hot topic in the golf industry. There is a lot of conflicting information out there so it is easy for the average golfer to get confused. There are golf instructors who swear by the one plane approach and others who say the two plane golf swing is better. So which person should you listen to? Who is right? Well, the answer to that is……both people are correct. That can be a very frustrating part about golf. There are many ways to swing a golf club. But what we need to do is determine which type of instruction is right for YOUR swing.

The One Plane Golf Swing Vs. The Two Plane Golf Swing

Comparing the one plane and two plane golf swings and trying to determine which swing style is better is not an easy task. Golf instructors continually debate this topic and they will more than likely never come to an answer. The reason for this is because there are players on the pro tour who use each type of swing.

As an example, Sam Snead, Chad Campbell, and Scott McCarron are all golfers who use the one plane golf swing. These golfers swing their club around their bodies on a more flat plane. This helps them to keep their shoulders in line at the top of the swing.

On the other side of the spectrum we have the golfers who use the two plane golf swing. They use a swinging pattern that is more upright. At the top of their swing their left arm is much steeper than their shoulders. Some of the golf professionals who use the two plane approach include Jack Nicklaus, Colin Montgomerie, Hale Irwin, and Sean O’Hair.

The two types of golfers that we just mentioned have to focus on two entirely different principles for their swings. These principles are pretty much opposites of each other and that is why we get a lot of conflicting information from golf instructors on how we should swing a golf club.

Determining Which Swing Is Right For You – The One Plane or The Two Plane Golf Swing

Alright, so we have learned the difference between the one plane and two plane golf swings. Now we need to determine which swing style is right for you. So how do we do that? Here is what I suggest…

It’s important to go with a swing that is comfortable for you. However, with that being said, I recommend using the one plane approach. Why? Because it is definitely a more simple golf swing to learn. Also, more and more pros are starting to realize this and are changing their swing to the one plane.

Just think about it, the more simple your golf swing the less chances you have at slicing, hooking or topping the ball. You need a golf swing that is CONSISTENT and ACCURATE at the same time. If you would like more information on the one plane golf swing and how to SIMPLIFY your golf swing click on the links I have below:

Thanks, and I hope you enjoyed this information

Can you ever hit the ball just like Tiger Woods? Of course not. Im not going to lie to you. But if you do want to impress your friends on the course. Click Here!

Golfers didn’t used to focus so much on fitness as part of their golf training. It seemed unnecessary to spend your time doing stretches and exercises that worked out parts of the body that weren’t “golf-specific.”

Then, along came a 20-year-old kid who blew all these old golfers out of the water, hitting 180 mph balls off the tee. The era of Tiger Woods had come.

Suddenly everyone wanted to unlock the secrets of the Tiger Woods golf swing. It was obvious he had a different way of going about things, and eventually this young golfer would change the way we train and play.

There’s more than just the mechanics of the swing. Let’s take a look at what makes Tiger Woods golf swing so solid.

It’s All About Keeping Fit

One reason Tiger can swing like that is that he’s flexible and strong. If you need any evidence that a good overall fitness program to build strength and flexibility is essential for a great golf swing, look no further than our man Tiger.

Tiger Woods knows that golf is a full-body sport. That’s why he follows a rigorous training routine that includes the whole body and not just golf-specific exercises. He has always advocated weight training and stretching as part of a golf practice routine.

It’s All About Energy

Tiger uses every little bit of energy he can. When he swings, he turns his body fast while gently pushing his right leg (the back leg in his swing) forward. The result is that no energy is wasted. All the potential energy he’s built up in the backswing gets released, and the full force of it hits that ball.

He can do this because he has a strong core. The study of biomechanics has taught us the ways in which all the parts of the body work together to give you a good golf swing. The core is your lower body and torso. When you swing at a golf ball, your core is like the axis, and the rest of the body rotates around it.

A perfect golf swing like Tiger’s involves efficiently winding up and storing your body’s natural energy, then releasing it in a natural and controlled way.

It’s All About Smooth, Natural Movement

But, it’s not over when he hits the ball. After he smacks the ball, he lets his body follow through and finish that rotation. The club ends up behind his back. He lets it swing freely around him, allowing it to follow its natural course.

Tiger swings all the way through the ball. Stopping the full rotation before it reaches its natural end tenses up your body, and can have a disastrous effect on how you hit the ball. Swinging all the way through adds distance to your shots. This is why he lets the rotation follow all the way through.

It’s All About Your Mind

Finally, Tiger Woods keeps relaxed. It’s hard enough to keep yourself relaxed when you’re making a shot with your friends, but imagine when the entire golfing world is watching! But, keeping cool is essential in golf, more than any other sport, and Tiger never loses it out on the green.

If you follow these tips, you’ll be just as good as Tiger Woods in no time. Just kidding. But seriously folks, watch Tiger Woods golf swing and you’ll see your own game improve.

If the article below makes sense, and you’ve wanted to hit long golf drives but have not been able to then click here.

Every golf hole starts at the tee. If you’re having difficulty driving, then you’re opening every single hole at a disadvantage. You might save a bunch of pars with a great putt, but you might well be going for birdies if your drive had been a bit longer.

For most players, long golf drives and consistency with the driver are far from being impossible. Being consistent from the tee is a lot easier than most people realize.

With the modern golf ball and Titanium driver, long drives come from hitting the ball on a high launch angle and getting the best angle of descent. It’s not about low stingers anymore. Long golf drives are now a result of high launch and long carry.

With their high swing speeds and dependable striking, golf pros can handle low loft drivers and nevertheless get height on the ball. For most club players though, playing drivers with extra loft will enhance accuracy and carry. The majority of club golfers would do best with drivers in the 11 14 degree loft range.

Playing the correct driver shaft is crucial when it comes to long drives and consistent golf. The shaft plays a crucial role in all the clubs in your set, but play the wrong shaft in your driver and any miss-hits are expensive.

The majority of golfers now play graphite shafts in their drivers. Unfortunately, a large percentage of golfers use driver shafts that are too stiff for their swings. That might account for the most common miss amongst club golfers, the slice. Use a shaft that is overly stiff and you’ll probably hit a slice.

This has a lot to do with the common misconception that graphite shafts aren’t strong enough. That could well have been true 10 years ago, but advanced graphite shaft fiber patterns have given us exceptional models with excellent flex profiles.

A medium torque, light-weight driver shaft would give the best results for most golfers. The light-weight will increase swing speed and you’ll be able to load a medium torque shaft better during your swing, delivering the most energy into your drives. More yards come from more energy.

The inflexibility of the shaft’s tip will also affect the trajectories. A shaft with an overly stiff tip section will have an unwanted effect on your drive carry as the trajectories will suffer. The launch angle is where a long golf drive comes from. Take into account, we’re not after worm burners anymore.

Matching your driver head and shaft specifications to your game type is the most important part of being a long hitter. You want your driver to help your game, not fight against it.

Watching a pro golfer hit a beautiful, straight and long drive can either be really inspirational or really frustrating. Learning how to swing the club is a vital skill for aspiring golfers of any skill level or age. Take advantage of these quick tips to help improve your swing and your entire golf game:

1) Be sure to keep your focus on your task while keeping your mind clear of too many distracting thoughts.

2) Throughout the entire swing you need to keep your head down. Be sure to be eyeing the ball the entire time rather than looking at where you want the ball the go. Don’t move your head up until your swing is completed.

3) Don’t release your swing too soon. Far too many people make contact with the golf ball and then stop swinging. You need to follow through all the way to increase your power and improve your drives.

4) You should work on lengthening your swing, which means keeping your arms all the way extended and operating through a full range of motion.

5) Improve your rotation by focusing on keeping your chin on your shoulder during your backswing. This will help keep your body aligned and will help generate more force, producing more accurate and more powerful drives each and every time.

6) Keep your body weight on your front foot as opposed to you back foot. This will enable you to easily transfer the force of your swing to the ball, rather than having a powerful swing that goes nowhere. Keeping your weight on your back foot will seriously hinder your able to gain distance.

A perfect timing and good energy should always be considered in making these 300 yard hits. Practice makes perfect. Professional golfers are able to accomplish these hits looking effortless because the right techniques are followed. So if you would like to drive a golf ball as far as Tiger Woods can, these methods would be something that can come in handy to your next trip to the golf course.

It is somewhat annoying that every time you play golf you have to carry your equipment around. Unless you are a pro golf athlete that have a caddy to carry your equipments around. Looking for a good golf bag is a bit difficult and it usually depends on your likes and needs. The prices and features on golf bags differ. Thus, it is recommended that you choose a good golf bag from the list of bags below that is according to your likes and needs.

There are different types of golf bags for clubs. One of these bags is the carry bag. It is the most basic and common type of golf bag. It ranges between 5 to 8.5 inches in diameter and weigh only 3.5lbs. All top manufacturers produce high quality of carry bags. Almost all carry bags have double strap to equally divide the weight of the bag over both shoulders. Thus, making the bag comfortable to carry. This bag is less expensive and can do the job really well.

The second one is the pencil or Sunday bag. Pencil bags are popular. They are light, thinner versions of a carry bag that has up to 6 inches of diameter and can hold up to 14 clubs. They have slim design for ease of storing in a locker or car. It offers only little protection in rain, thus they are only great on warm and dry day.

The stand bag is the third one. It has similar size to a carry bag and can stand to hold your golf bag so that it won’t get dirtied. It has two legs to stand nicely on the ground thus it is easier to take out your clubs. A good stand bag has good stability and quality. It is a bit expensive than a carry bag.

The fourth one is a cart bag that has a design to be carried on a golf cart. The size of the bag can fit perfectly on to an electric or push trolley. Cart bag are great for older golfers and lad golfers. All pockets are found on one side to access your waterproofs, valuables, covers, balls etc easily. It is stiffer than a carry or stand bag.

The fifth type is the tour bag. Tour bag is the largest type of golf bag. Its diameter can reach up to 10 inches and its weight is about 45lbs. It is design to accommodate different stuffs like extra clothing, waterproofs, gloves, refreshments, balls etc needed by a tour player. It is not a great bag for players without a caddy.

The sixth and the last one is the travel bag. This bag is designed for traveling. It gives a good protection for your luggage. Travel bags can come in hard or soft cases. The hard bag is very stiff that cannot fit into the back of a car. For ease of transportation, it is best that your travel bag has wheel.

As you search the golf stand bag reviews, remember that weight and overall rating of every golf bag are not enough information to make an informed decision. You need to dig a little deeper to get a better understanding of the golf stand bag of your choice. It’s also good to see reviews from real people and not just the basic product description. All golf bag descriptions will look the same, so you better get more information than description alone.

So what should you look for in a golf stand bag? After reading numerous golf stand bag reviews, I personally recommend 3 main factors to consider. First, you should look at the style of the golf bag you need. The Taylormade golf stand bags offer many style selections to choose from. Next, you should look at the weight of the golf stand bag. You should also consider how many compartments or pockets you want the bag to have so you can keep your things organized. Lastly, the most important thing to look into is the durability of the golf bag.

The style of a golf stand bag is totally up to you as to what you like in the look of a golf bag. Talormade golf stand bags come in numerous different styles, weights, and durability of the bags. I can’t really tell you which style is best, because that is totally up to you. All I can say is that the taylormade golf stand bags come in a variety of styles and colors, like many other brands.

Based on my experience, you cant rely on golf stand bag reviews to help you finalize a decision when considering weights. The weights of golf stand bags can vary. However, a lighter bag can connote lighter load to carry. A couple pounds could mean a difference between strokes as you may get tired from carrying a heavy bag for 18 holes. But don’t sacrifice weight for durability.

The number of pockets a golf stand bag has can vary from bag to bag, especially in the taylormade golf stand bags. This could be a deciding factor when choosing a golf bag. I know I use a lot of compartments in my bag to hold everything from tees and golf balls, to my valuables like cell phone and keys. I always like to have a special pocket to hold my valuables.

The durability of your golf bag is the single most important factor when looking through golf stand bag reviews. I know I wouldn’t want to buy a one hundred dollar golf bag and end up having to buy a new one the next year because it wasn’t built to last a long time. Make sure to buy the most durable golf bag you find that is in your budget, you will be disappointed if you don’t.

I hope these golf bag tips gave you a better perspective as you choose your next golf bag and search through the many golf stand bag reviews. As mentioned, the Taylormade golf offers a variety of choices so I suggest starting with those.

A Golf Swing Slice – 3 Ways to Cure it

One of the most common problems for beginning golfers absolutely has to be s golf swing slice. This means that if you are a right handed when you strike the ball it starts out either going slightly left, perfectly straight or slightly to the right. But then the ball begins drifting off to the right like a banana. It can wind up anywhere from 20 yards to 75 yards and more off center to the right.

Now there are mainly two reasons for this to occur. There are of course some other things to consider but these are the main two reasons that this happens.

First, the golfer is most likely swinging what they call over the top. Meaning that the swing ark is going from the outside in, rather than the inside out. Which is the proper path for the swing ark. If you don’t understand what the swing ark or swing plane is then this might not make much sense and for now that’s ok. You have plenty of time to learn about the swing plane.

Second, when the golfers club is actually making contact with the ball. The club head should be striking the ball square to the target. Makes sense right? Well many times when the ball is slicing, it is because the club face is actually making contact with the ball in a slightly or sometimes more than slightly open position.

Third, your grip can also play a big factor in the flight of your ball. If you have a tendency to slice the ball you will want to use a stronger grip. This means that you will see no more than two of the knuckles on your left hand and that you will be gripping the club more like a baseball bat. You may also be happy to note that this grip also has a tendency to give you more distance.

With the combination of swinging over the top and striking the ball with an open club face, you can be sure that you to wind up with a nasty slice. A golf swing slice can be one of the most frustrating things to get through when you are beginning to learn the game. It is so very important that when you are learning to play golf that you get the fundamentals down. Now this can vary slightly from coach to coach and from system to system but they are mostly the same. For instance, Tiger woods uses an interlocking grip while over 85% of tour players use an overlapping grip. There is really nothing wrong with either. There are many other instances where the method chosen is a matter of choice and finding out what works for you and your body type.

In order to avoid a golf swing slice it is very important that you get the fundamentals down first. It will be much for difficult for you to undo a bad habit then to learn the proper way from the beginning.

So, when starting to learn the proper golf swing you are sure to hit a few slices from time to time but if you get the fundamentals down first, for the most part slicing the ball can be avoided and you will be oh so happy that it has. If you get the basics down and eliminate that bad habits mentioned in the article you will be sure to avoid a golf swing slice.

If you are a brand new golfer or a weekend golfer of 30 years or even someone that has a lower handicap, then Beginning golf tips is for you. Plan on getting the latest information on the best techniques and products to help you lower your score and have way more fun on the golf course. So if you are a beginning golfer that is just starting out we want to help you to become a consistent, competent ball striker that enjoys the game as much as we do.

When you are first learning this amazing game, we understand how frustrating it can be. Just trying to get the ball into the air can seem like a daunting task in your first days swinging a club. It is extremely important that you get started on the right foot. Any professional golfer will tell you the exact same thing. Getting into bad habits early will certainly cause you way more trouble in the end and could actually wind up keeping you from the game altogether because of frustration or inury. And oh how horrible that would be. What better way is there to spend a day than on a golf course with your friends. Having fun and hitting great golf shots. It truly doesn’t get much better than that.

Beginning golf tips for the beginner. This is where you start. So we do suggest that you start out with some basic golf instruction. We’ll make some basic recommendations here. What kind of clubs should you buy? Where do you take instruction? Do you need a personal instructor? These are all the questions that most commonly run through the beginning golfers mind.

Perhaps you’ve been playing for a while and you can’t break 90 or the illusive 80. It really doesn’t matter. All we will be doing here is gathering all of the latest information into one area so that you don’t have to search hi and low on the internet. Keeping things simple, informative and effective is all we want to do for you here.

Beginning golf tips for the golfer trying to break 90. Well if you are shooting in the 90’s, what that means is that you are actually able to strike the bell fairly well. Your main problems are probably consistency, perhaps driving the ball and the short game. These seem to be the most common problems for golfers at your level. So look for articles and posts that address these issues specifically to help you break into the 80’s.

Beginning golf tips for the golfer trying to break 80. You’ve been working on your game for sometime most likely and you probably practice at least 2 times a week while playing 1 or more times per week as well. You’ve become more consistent, but if you could just keep those doubles of the your card you would surly be shooting in the mid to upper 70’s consistently. Keep on the lookout for posts geared for you my friend. More fairways equals more greens. With just a couple less puts on the front and back and you are already there. It’s not that difficult and you will get there.

Beginning golf tips will help you lower your scores and have way more fun than you’ve ever had before playing golf.
